Centre for Memory Studies in IIT Madras
In November 2022, an IAS led Initiative has led to the signing of an MOU with the Centre for Memory Studies in IIT Madras. In October 2022 Co-Director Nayanika Mookherjee visited IIT Madras for discussions on the MOU and gave a Lecture on 21st October 2022 titled: Rethinking Transnational Adoption and its Parallels through Affective Memory and Digitality.
In addition, IAS Director Alex Easton has received a Global Engagement Grant to follow up on the IAS’s growing links with a visit to IIT Madras in Spring 2023. He also gave a talk on the Future of IASs in a Global World at Tübingen’s new College of Fellows in a renewed push for solid international partnerships with the IAS.
